Dear Residents of Burge Apartments,

I am writing with important news. First of all, I thank you for choosing to stay on campus and live in the Burge Apartments. As you may have experienced, we had a number of problems with the elevators, air conditioning system and other facilities issues in Burge. Our goal is to insure that all housing facilities on campus are maintained at the highest standard. These facility issues are getting more problematic and financially costly each year, and, our ability to maintain Burge to our high standard is no longer possible to achieve. Therefore, after lengthy evaluations and analysis, the Department of Housing and the Georgia Tech Administration will CLOSE Burge Apartments for occupancy as of June 15, 2007.

O mejor dicho, es espagnol castizo. Vamos a demoler el edificio para crear otra solucion bien costosa en la que podamos extraer mas dinero de los estudiantes de posgrados casados. Por lo tanto, DESALOJEN¡

A nosotros otro sitio no nos da las cuentas de dinero. Asi que... Necesitaremos otra excusa para volver a Colombia? Amanecer en un amplio edificio con luminosidad por todos lados, de 130 metros cuadrados con un ventanal enorme y vista a los cerros orientales de Bogota, y al Centro, desde un decimo piso? A 15 minutos del cielo y del infierno? Con un monton de amigos con los cuales poder hacer un "demolition party" y no tener que usar a nuestros amigos imaginarios?

Bye bye sweet home. Bye bye 37 mts cuadrados.

En otras noticias, Adriana desde Mexico nos muestra un importante estudio sobre reduccion de estres, y agnado yo, incremento de la felicidad entre las mujeres. La falta de mis amigas es otra razon para volver a Colombia, si sigo asi me voy a enloquecer!!!! Por favor, necesito incrementar la oxitocina en mi cuerpo!!!
